Midwest Remediation is Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certified. This means that we have the advanced training and experience as well as the widest array of specialty equipment to dry residential, commercial and industrial buildings completely - resorting to reconstruction only when absolutely necessary.
There are three types of possible water damage:
-
Clean Water - These losses typically originate from frozen and broken pipes, ice maker hoses, failed water heaters, roof leaks, etc.
-
Grey Water - This is water that has been used to clean something and therefore may contain contamination or soiling such as food, laundry soils, body soils and body oils, etc. Grey water damage generally comes from washing machines, dishwashers, tub overflows, spas, etc.
-
Black Water - This category of water typically comes from toilet, sewer and septic system back-ups or overflows and contains human and/or animal waste. Black water carries thousands of disease causing viruses, bacteria and protozoa and can cause very serious illnesses if not treated properly.
We utilize the latest in high tech inspection tools, including thermal imaging, to determine the extent of the damage. The water is then extracted and the structure is dried using the appropriate technology. The drying process is extensively monitored and documented to ensure the fastest restoration possible.
We employ an IICRC certified technician on every loss and all work is done to the proper Standard of Care. We also specifically address any health hazards that may be associated with water damage.
